Before I became a published writer and editor, I hustled through the freelance writing grind. And I wish I knew then what I know now. And that is… that I had to pitch ideas waaaayyyy more. I’ll give you some tips below (I promise, no fluff). But first, if you want to learn how to pitch your stories to editors and start cashing in, comment “THRIVING”. Now let’s talk money. Here’s the tea on how to get there: ➡️Choose a Niche: Not absolutely required, but definitely helpful! Specializing in a niche can make you more marketable. Consider areas where you have expertise or a strong interest, such as technology, health, finance, etc. ➡️Pitch Way More: Craft personalized pitches to potential publications. Make sure to give them strong story angles that are either trending or evergreen and caters to their audience needs.
